ISHRA Events

ISHRA hosts a variety of public events to educate the public about the Isles of Shoals and to build community among those with a shared interest in learning about the islands and enjoying their beauty.

Meetings/Presentations

Twice a year in the spring and fall, ISHRA hosts events addressing topics related to the Isles of Shoals. These gatherings are typically hosted at the Portsmouth Public Library, are free, and open to the public.

Overnight Conferences

ISHRA offers two overnight conferences each summer on Star Island with themes related to the Isles of Shoals’ history and culture. The conferences are scheduled for several days and are held in June and September.

Socials

ISHRA hosts an annual social potluck gathering for members and those interested in joining. The social is typically held at the end of January at the Congregational Church in Kittery Point, Maine.
